Joy Dry/OwnerHi there! My name is Joy and I'm the owner of Get Fit Together. As a Nesta Certified Group Fitness Instructor, I'm passionate about helping people find joy in fitness, no matter their background or fitness level.
Growing up in Concord NC, I didn't have an athletic background. It wasn't until my mid-thirties that I discovered my love for fitness, thanks to some amazing instructors at the gym. In 2008, I started teaching group fitness classes for an all ladies gym in Concord. From there, I spent most of my fitness career teaching boot camp in the park classes for the City of Concord. I believe that fitness should be a fun and inclusive experience, which is why I offer a wide variety of classes that welcome all levels of fitness on all steps of the fit & healthy journey. Whether you're into boot camp, circuit workouts, strength training, HIIT, step aerobics or low impact workouts, there's something for everyone at Get Fit Together. My motto is simple: "Find a workout you love and repeat it often." I hope to inspire you to reach beyond your goals and discover the joy of fitness! |

Kelly McCarthyMeet Kelly, a dedicated fitness expert excited to work with you. Kelly has been teaching group fitness classes since 2011, focusing on weight training, spinning, and small group mixed-fit style classes. She loves both taking and leading classes and is proud to be a part of the talented team of trainers at Get Fit Together.
Kelly's fitness journey has had its share of ups and downs, which she believes many people can relate to. She has always been drawn to anything active and has played sports. However, after college, she lost herself without organized sports and neglected her physical health. She gained weight, lost confidence, and convinced herself that her passion for movement had waned. By the time she reached her 30s, she was in the worst shape of her life and struggling with weight-related health problems. That's when group fitness saved her. It gave her the "team" she had missed since leaving organized sports. The people she worked out with were her teammates and, the instructor, her coach. It was a natural step for her to start leading classes herself. Kelly is known for her energy, encouragement, and at times, her loudness. She has had major setbacks in her fitness journey, so she understands what it feels like to start over. She believes anyone can achieve fitness goals with consistency, proper training, and the right support system. Kelly is excited to be that support system for you and help you achieve your fitness goals. |
