So you’re curious about bungee fitness. Maybe you’ve seen videos of people flying through the air, bouncing off the floor, or laughing so hard they forget they’re actually working out. Maybe you just want to know if the harness is going to make you feel like a human sausage link.

Bungee fitness is part workout, part adrenaline rush, and part “I feel like I’m auditioning for a superhero movie.” It’s a fantastic low-impact, high-energy workout that’s easy on the joints AND fun enough to make you forget you’re doing burpees.

Does the bungee do the jumping for me?

Short answer: no.

Long answer: absolutely not.

The bungee is here to support you, not replace you. Think of it like a very enthusiastic friend — it’ll boost your jump, give you momentum, and help you fly… but only if you put energy into it.

If you just stand there waiting to be magically launched into the air, you will remain standing there… waiting.


Will I float gracefully like I’m in a music video?

Eventually? Yes.

At first? Just… no.

The beginning phase is a little awkward. Your legs want to run, the bungee wants to fly, and your brain is somewhere in between shouting instructions you ignore. With practice, everything syncs up and you’ll totally have your "main character moment."


What goes up must come down, right?

Correct. Gravity is still a thing.

When you land, aim for your feet.

Not your knee. Not your shoulder. Not your “I’ll just slide into this landing dramatically like I’m in the Olympics.”

Feet on the ground. Trust me, it works better.


What should I wear?

  • Fitted or longer tops (the harness likes to creep up and create accidental crop tops)

  • Leggings or pants that allow movement

  • Clean athletic shoes

And yes, I said clean.

If you show up in muddy shoes and then put your hands on the floor… well, congratulations, you’re now doing pushups in your own dirt.


Will I get a cardio workout?

Oh yes — you’re going to sweat. You’ll be jumping, running, doing flying pushups, and laughing at yourself (and others… lovingly).

Laughter is basically core work, so that counts too.


What if I’m scared to try it?

Everyone walks in thinking, “I hope I don’t faceplant.”

Everyone walks out saying, “That was the most fun workout I’ve ever done.”

You’ll be clipped in, supported, and guided through everything. We’ve got you.


I’m not coordinated. Can I still do this?

Absolutely.

If you can jump, you can bungee.

If you can’t jump, you’re about to learn.

Worst case, you look like a baby giraffe.

Best case, you look like an action hero.

Both options burn calories.


What should I expect after class?

  • You’ll feel muscles you haven’t sensed since 2008.

  • You’ll randomly burst into laughter remembering your first “graceful” landing attempt.

  • You’ll want to book your next class immediately.


Any final advice?

The bungee can smell hesitation.

Give half-effort and you’ll get half-a-bounce.

Give full effort and suddenly gravity has nothing on you.
