Waiver, Release of Liability, and Assumption of Risk
Before participating in any group fitness class, program, or personal training session offered by Get Fit Together, operated by Get Fit with Joy, LLC, you should consult your physician to ensure you are medically cleared for physical activity. By participating, you acknowledge that exercise involves inherent risks, including but not limited to muscle strains, falls, collisions, or other injuries.
You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation and agree to take full responsibility for your own safety and health. You release and hold harmless Get Fit Together, Get Fit with Joy, LLC, and their owners, employees, contractors, agents, and affiliates from any and all claims, liabilities, damages, or causes of action arising out of or related to your participation, including those resulting from ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
You agree to follow all instructions and safety guidelines provided by staff and understand that failure to do so may increase the risk of injury.
You confirm that, to the best of your knowledge, you are in good health and physically able to participate. You understand that results from exercise vary by individual and that no guarantees are made regarding outcomes. If you choose to participate without medical clearance, you do so at your own risk.
Emergency Medical Treatment: In the event of an emergency, you authorize Get Fit Together staff to provide basic first aid and/or seek medical assistance if necessary.
Fees and Refunds: You understand that fees paid for classes, programs, or personal training sessions are non-refundable, even if you are unable to participate due to injury or other circumstances.
Photo and Video Release: You grant Get Fit Together permission to use photos or videos taken during classes or events for promotional or educational purposes, including on websites, social media, printed materials, or other media. You release Get Fit Together from any claims related to the use of these images.
Indemnification: You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Get Fit Together and Get Fit with Joy, LLC from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your participation or actions during activities.
Eligibility: Participants must be 18 years of age or older.
Governing Law: This agreement shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina.
Acknowledgment and Agreement: By signing below, you acknowledge that you have read this agreement, understand its contents, and voluntarily agree to its terms. You understand that you are waiving certain legal rights.
